It takes community participation to ensure that there are recreational programs available for our children. Joining the West Geauga Rec Council is a great way to get involved, as well as make some good friends. We would love to have you as a volunteer!
MEMBERSHIP IS FREE
There is no cost to join. We ask that you become involved in one committee and help with one activity, as well as attend monthly meetings to be considered an active member. All active volunteers receive discounts on WGRC programs.
MEMBERSHIP PERKS
Active WGRC members receive discounts on the WGRC programs. Executive board members enjoy a 50% discount on WGRC programs. You will also have access to use the 20’ x 50’ heated in-ground pool, 15-acre campsite, pavilions with picnic tables, sand volleyball court, soccer field, gaga ball courts, two playgrounds, and basketball court.
JOIN THE FUN
Your level of involvement depends on YOU. Volunteers are asked to be involved in one committee and help with one activity, as well as attend monthly meetings. Children are welcome at all meetings and activities.

WGRC is looking for volunteers with all types of skills and any amount of time available. Some of the help needed includes: a variety of needs with our sports programs - from administrative to coaching; maintaining the campsite and pool; fundraising; securing sponsors and advertisers; member event planning; publicity and website.
Any help is greatly appreciated and there is truly a way for everyone to contribute.
